DEVELOPING STORY: Major destruction has been reported across Tennessee and Alabama tonight as a massive storm system sweeps over the region. A number of confirmed tornadoes destroyed homes and business from Nashville to Huntsville.
There are also reports of dangerous flash floods in Middle Tennessee. Water rescues are underway in Robertson County, Tenn.
An unknown number of people have been killed and injured across the region.
The town of Henagar, Alabama took a direct hit and extensive damage has been reported. Scanner traffic reports a number of people trapped in debris. And a call went out for neighboring counties to send all available help. Click here to get Todd’s breaking news alerts.
