President Biden responded to the dismal jobs report Friday, pushing for more government spending.
“Today’s report just underscores, in my view, how vital the actions we’re taking are,” Biden said, calling for more government handouts.

“Our efforts are starting to work but the climb is steep and we’ve still got a ways to go,” he said, adding that the “American Rescue Plan” is “already working.”
On Thursday, Biden touted his “record” on jobs, telling viewers his administration “created more jobs” in his first 100 days “than any other” in American history.
