‘THE HOME OF THE SLAVES!’ Black Singer Ripped For Rewriting National Anthem

TODDSTARNES.COM: R&B singer Jill Scott is facing the wrath of patriots after she desecrated the Star-Spangled Banner by rewriting the lyrics.

“R&B singer Jill Scott (“Oh, say can you see by the blood in the streets,” she sang at EssenceFest.

Following are her sickening lyrics:

“Oh, say can you see, by the blood in the streets. This place doesn’t smile on you, colored child. Whose blood built this land with sweat and their hands. But we’ll die in this place and your memory erased. Oh, say, does this truth hold any weight. This is not the land of the free but the home of the slaves.”

Ms. Scott claiming to be an oppressed black woman is laughable. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the R&B singer is worth $12 million.

Thoughts and prayers to you, Ms. Scott. I can’t imagine what it must be like to only be able to afford the junior suite at Four Seasons.
