There’s no doubt that the Chinese virus outbreak has disrupted daily routines across the fruited plain – and that includes the cancellation of school.
But a group of patriotic young children in Broadview Heights, Ohio decided that one important daily routine was worth continuing – especially during a global pandemic.
Every morning at 9 a.m. families gather on their driveways and they recite the Pledge of Allegiance together.
Mary Beth Kressler, mother of four children, told News 5 in Cleveland she started this because “in times like these, we have to remember what’s important.”
LOVE: Families & kiddos in Broadview Heights come out and do the Pledge of Allegiance together every morning while schools are shut down. Social distancing done right!
