Law enforcement believes the Cybertruck that exploded outside Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas was an act of terrorism.
At least seven people were injured and the driver of the Tesla Cybertruck was killed when the blast happened in the valet lane under the hotel’s portico.
Elon Musk wrote on X that the explosion “appears likely to be an act of terrorism.”
“Both this Cybertruck and the F-150 suicide bomb in New Orleans were rented from Turo. Perhaps they are linked in some way,” Musk wrote on X.
Musk said his team has “confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and is unrelated to the vehicle itself.”
