“While I am praying for former President Trump and hopes he makes a full recovery…the extremism from the MAGA regime has brought us to this moment,” the state lawmaker wrote on X in a now-deleted post.

In response to the justifiable outrage her post generated, she replied, “Don’t worry about me. Go deal with your hurt.”

Lamar, who is a lawmaker styled after Rep. Ilhan Omar and AOC, was roundly condemned by conservatives in the area.

“Show some respect. God sees your wicked heart and will deal with you,” said one KWAM News Radio Memphis listener. “She needs to resign.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) blasted Lamar.

“Horrifying that a public official would even hold such a thought when a former president has been shot, at least one innocent person is dead, and people have been terrorized,” the senator wrote on X.

State Rep. Antonio Parkinson (D-Memphis) even suggested the shooting was staged.

“I certainly hope this is not a staged act. But..” he wrote on X.

Tami Sawyer, one of the most radical activists in the state and a candidate for public office, agreed with the post.

“Looks like it to me,” she responded.

“I am not afraid of people pointing out my doubt about anything convicted rapist, liar and felon Donald Trump is a part of… if I were to apologize for anything, it’s that I deleted my disbelief out of fear that hateful people would do what they’re doing – misusing my words.” said Sawyer, who has a notorious history of using racially-charged language against white people.

Amber Sherman, the president of the Young Democrats of Shelby County, posted a now-deleted celebratory note on X.

“Not Trump getting shot on my birthday,” she wrote on a post adorned with party emojis. “The gifts just keep coming!!!”

A number of KWAM News Radio Memphis listeners took screenshots of the post before it was deleted.

“Democrats are evil. That’s all you need to know,” wrote on listener. “

At least one Memphis leftist was disappointed that the assassin’s bullet only struck Trump’s ear.

“You get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow,” wrote another Memphis-area activist. “This opportunity comes once in a lifetime.”
