NYC Spends $2.3 Billion to House Illegals in Hotel Rooms

New York City says they will use hotel rooms as emergency shelters for illegal aliens.

The Department of Homeless Services will rent some 14,000 hotel rooms through at least next year.

The New York Post reports that the Big Apple has spent more than $2.3 billion to house illegals over the past two years. Money that should’ve been used to care for law-abiding Americans.

The Post reports that the final price tag could hit $5.7 billion.

Instead of serving the city’s tourism industry, many hotels in Times Square and Midtown Manhattan are now home to the illegals. If you are doing the math that’s about $352 per room, per night.

That’s nearly $5 million per day. Meanwhile, the law-abiding citizens of North Carolina get a one-time check from Uncle Sam for $750.
