The Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, the oldest and largest museum in Tennessee, is hosting a lavish and pricey dinner to raise money for the Palestinians.
The “Last Taste of Fall” will feature completely halal menu and “will incorporate elements of the cuisines of Palestine.”
The $85 per person, five-course menu includes pumpkin gnocchi, mussels, dry-aged halal duck, and “lacto-fermented” fruits & veggies.
The booze will cost extra and will no doubt be needed to wash down those lacto-fermented brussel sprouts.
“This menu will be a celebration of the seasonal produce, fowl, and seafood of late fall/early winter, and several dishes will incorporate elements of the cuisines of Palestine,” the museum announced on it social media platforms.
“We’ll be donating a percentage of the profit from this event to @thepcrf which is an organization that provides aid to Palestinian children currently experiencing a major humanitarian crisis,” they also announced.
What about the Israel children?
