Over the weekend, Vice President Kamala Harris literally stole one of President Trump’s signature economic recovery measures: no tax on tips.
The president has earned huge support from the nation’s service industry after he promised that he would take immediate action to provide relief for millions of servers and staff at restaurants and hotels.
But Harris made the same promise over the weekend during a rally in Las Vegas. She claimed Trump’s idea as her own.
The Mainstream Media refused to call out Kamala. So, allow me to do that.
It’s clear Kamala does not have an original thought in her campaign. That’s one of the reasons why she has yet to release any policy initiatives. She also refuses to sit down with any journalists.
But she’s literally the reason why waitresses are being taxed.
In 2022 – Kamala cast the tie-breaking vote to pass the Inflation Reduction Act – providing $80 billion in additional funding for IRS agents. The following year – the IRS launched the tip reporting program.
“The IRS, they just announced that they want to start tracking all of the tips that workers earn so that they can be taxed for it,” Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity said at the time. “And remember, this is all part of Biden’s so-called Inflation Reduction Act.”
All that to say – good luck getting a table at Applebees, Kamala.
