Bette Midler, the singer and movie star, posted and then deleted a message praising the Kentucky neighbor who brutally attack Rep. Rand Paul in 2017.
The assault was so savage that Paul was left with broken bones and had to have part of his lung removed.
“I DO NOT promote violence,” Midler wrote. “But… Rand Paul says the Kurds are being ‘ingrates’ for taking their frustrations out on US troops. Which is a good reminder for us all to be more grateful for the neighbor who beat the shit out of Rand Paul.”
It’s not the first time Ms. Midler has demonstrated violent tendencies. In 2018 she wished President Trump and his family had been lynched.
“He’s gonna hang you. Hang the fam’ly. GOOD AND HIGH,” she tweeted.
Midler also dreamed of someone stabbing the president.
“Maybe someone in his camp can gently give him a shiv. I mean, shove,” she wrote.
U.S. Capitol Police and the Secret Service should pay very close attention to the threats coming from anti-Trump celebrities. Just remember, President Lincoln was assassinated by an actor.
