DEVELOPING STORY: A giant Ferris wheel at ICON Park in Orlando lost power Saturday night and rescue crews are working to evacuate people.
ICON Park confirmed in a statement that The Wheel lost power and they are working with Orange County Fire Rescue to evacuate people.
“The Wheel lost power Saturday night and we’re working with the Orange County Fire Department to safely evacuate guests,” the statement tread.
Video, which you can watch below, shows sparks and smoke billowing from the 400-foot tall ride.
There’s no word on how many people are trapped on the Ferris wheel or if anyone was injured.
