Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake spoke out against an alleged attack on gay supporters at a Phoenix bar.

Lake responded Friday to the Phoenix Log Cabin Republicans, who said management at Sazerac “yelled at our group, lied about our presence being unauthorized, and even became physical with one of our officers” on Tuesday night.
“The ‘Tolerant Left’ Strikes Again: it’s Year 2022 and a group of Gay Americans were screamed at & kicked OUT of a bar, simply for wearing @KariLake shirts,” the Trump-backed candidate said in a tweet.

The Log Cabin Republicans chapter said it hosted several events with candidates at the bar until this monthly mixer mishap.
“We are greatly saddened by these events,” the group said. “Our group has always been the embodiment of inclusion.”
