Is the Left intolerant of Republicans?

Lake responded Friday to the Phoenix Log Cabin Republicans, who said management at Sazerac “yelled at our group, lied about our presence being unauthorized, and even became physical with one of our officers” on Tuesday night.

“The ‘Tolerant Left’ Strikes Again: it’s Year 2022 and a group of Gay Americans were screamed at & kicked OUT of a bar, simply for wearing @KariLake shirts,” the Trump-backed candidate said in a tweet.

“This hatred will NOT go unnoticed or unpunished when I am Governor. Our Movement embraces FREE Speech & Tolerance for ALL,” she added.

The Log Cabin Republicans chapter said it hosted several events with candidates at the bar until this monthly mixer mishap.

“We are greatly saddened by these events,” the group said. “Our group has always been the embodiment of inclusion.”
