A Wisconsin couple was fatally struck by lightning outside the White House in Washington, D.C. Thursday night, according to officials.

Four people were rushed to area hospitals with life-threatening injuries at Lafayette Park, which is across from the White House, D.C Fire and EMS reports. Two people died from their injuries.
