There was Republican on Republican violence at the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta. State Senator Colton Moore is a pro-Trump conservative. He’s been a frequent critic of the Establishment Republican leadership in the Peach state.

Moore was banned from entering the House chamber to hear Governor Brian Kemp’s State of the State Address. He was manhandled by a staffer and thrown to the ground. Watch the exclusive video of what happened below and click here to follow my Rumble television channel.

The Georgia State Patrol stepped in and arrested Moore. He was then transported to the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta. A mugshot was taken but there’s no word on charges. The senator has since been released. He gave a brief statement outside the jail – saying Georgia had become a banana republic.

The Associated Press reports that House Speaker Jon Burns had banned Moore from the chamber last year after Moore denounced late House Speaker David Ralston on a day when Ralston was being honored and his relatives were watching.

“In a speech, Moore called Ralston ‘one of the most corrupt Georgia leaders we’ll ever see’ over allegations that Ralston improperly delayed court cases he handled as a lawyer,” the AP reported. “Burns called Moore’s remarks ‘vile’ when he announced the ban, saying it would remain until Moore apologized.”

Burns, a RINO, defended the violence against Moore and blamed the MAGA senator for refusing to cooperate with doorkeepers.

“He chose to use force against our law enforceemtn officers, dedicated doorkeepers and House staff,” Burns wrote in a statement. “As you saw today, the integrity and decorum of this House are non-negotiable – period.”

America First Conservatives are enraged – as is the Georgia Republican Party. Chairman Josh McKoon releasing a statement blasting members of his own party:

“No duly elected member of the State House or State Senate, regardless of party or position on an issue of the day, should be denied the opportunity represent the people who elected them at any such joint session, wherever it is taking place. I am deeply disappointed that Senator Moore was denied admission and shocked that he was apparently subjected to arrest for attempting to attend the joint session today, after being physically manhandled.”

Sen. Moore is getting support from conservatives across the nation including Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) — calling the attack “some political establishment BS.”

“If you establishment boys in Georgia want a fight with (House Freedom Caucus) HFC, we’ll be happy to oblige. Get your mind right. Conflict with the Freedom Caucus is not a casual affair,” he wrote on X.

The true victims here are the good people of Senator Moore’s district in northwest Georgia. He is their duly elected senator. And he had every right to be in that chamber today.
