If you are a foreign leader – you’d better think twice before disrespecting the American people in the Oval Office in front of President Trump.
The president of Ukraine learned that lesson the hard way – and ended up being humiliated on national television. It was an F-A-F-O moment as Congressman Byron Donalds so eloquently wrote on X.
No one is quite sure what Volodymyr Zelensky was thinking – but this guy thought he could pull one over on Donald Trump – the man who literally wrote the Art of the Deal.
It did not go well. Watch below.
“It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations,” President Trump wrote on Truth Social. “I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace.”
And if you’re wondering how Zelensky’s behavior played on the international stage – just take a good look at Ukraine’s ambassador – she had a front row view of the dumpster fire. If only we had a body language expert on standby.
It was a beautiful moment watching President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance tag team in the Oval Office – like a professional wrestling match.
Zelensky looked Mini Me seated next to our president – and he seemed to shrivel minute by minute. He was clearly out of his league.
Trump and Vance are Alpha Males – and they exuded strength and confidence. There was no way our president was going to let Zelensky bully America. Nor, was he going to let him disrespect the presidcy or the oval office.
And God bless the reporter in the White House Press Pool who had the courage to ask Zelensky why he wasn’t wearing a suit.
There’s a Brooks Brothers not seven blocks away from the White Hosue. I’m sure they have a blue blazer in his size – the petite men’s department.
So here’s where we stand – the press conference between the two presidents was called off and there’s no peace deal on the table.
The president all but kicked him out of the White House but told him he could come back when he’s ready to have a serious conversation about peace. And next time – wear a suit, sir. And maybe stop by Walgreens and get some deodorant.
