DEVELOPING STORY: As many as 200,000 people turned out to greet former President Donald Trump at Madison Square Garden. Only 20,000 were allowed inside the famed arena. Tens of thousands piled into streets for blocks surrounding the building.
“Almost 200,000 people tried to get into this event tonight,” Eric Trump said about Madison Square Garden, arguing that shows how much “love” is out there for his dad.
The star-studded lineup included UFC president Dana White, Hulk Hogan and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH).
“For more than a century, America’s most celebrated heroes and legends have made history inside this iconic arena. This, where we stand, is where the greatest of all time, Muhammad Ali, faced Joe Frazier in the fight of the century,” Vance said.

Tucker Carlson brought down the house as he explained why the American people have been drawn to Trump.
“Why is Donald Trump going to win? The people he is about to defeat have no idea. And they’re in panic. They have no idea why people like Donald Trump and their first theory was, well, Donald Trump is evil, so half the country is evil also,” he said. “And that’s one of the reasons they spent the last four years trying to destroy the country because they’re mad at its voters for liking Donald Trump.”
Carlson continued, “The first reason that people like Donald Trump is because he likes them. That’s why. And it’s real affection is something you can’t fake. I don’t care how many times Kamala Harris would tell me she loves me, I don’t believe her.”
“People know in a country that has been taken over by a leadership class that actually despises them and their values in their history and their culture and their customs, really hates them to the point that it’s trying to replace them,” he added. “They know someone who actually has affection for them, and that’s Donald Trump.”
