The National Football League got it right tonight.
The New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills joined thousands of football fans in a star-spangled salute to the United States before the start of tonight’s game at MetLife Stadium.
The September 11th festivities kicked off with Jets quarterback Aaron Rogers charging onto the field waving an American flag. The crowd roared and cheered as Old Glory flapped in the breeze.

NYPD officer Brianna Fernandez sang the National Anthem and she invited the entire stadium to sing along.
“Sing it loud, sing it proud,” the stadium announcer declared.
A giant American flag covered the field and fireworks blasted over the stadium in one final salute to those who died during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Watch below and click here to pre-order Todd’s new book, endorsed by President Trump.
