Hundreds of Philadelphia residents were expected to hold a protest rally in support of the monstrous gunman who shot six police officers.
Maurice Hill remains in jail following this week’s raging gun battle in the City of Brotherly Love.
KYW television reports as many as 300 people are expected at the protest.
“Sadly, we do have to be there, I don’t understand it. There’s certain marches I do understand, this is definitely not one of them,” Police Commissioner Richard Ross told he television station.
It’s beyond belief that anyone would show public or private support for a neighborhood drug dealer who tried to slaughter law enforcement officers. The police were trying to protect the residents.
On the day of the shooting a mob of residents taunted police officers, hurling obscenities as well as projectiles. Click here to view the video.
