The White House said President Biden believes former President Trump represents a threat to democracy Wednesday.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki previewed the speech Biden plans to make to Congress on the anniversary of the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol.
“President Biden has been clear-eyed about the threat the former president represents to our democracy,” she told reporters. “And how the former president works to constantly undermine basic American values and rule of law.”
She claims Biden will “unite our country” with his talk.
