Former President Trump put out a simple statement Thursday demanding to know who shot Ashli Babbitt.
“Who shot Ashli Babbitt?” Trump asked in an official statement.
Babbitt, a pro-Trump Air Force veteran, was shot and killed by an unnamed Capitol Police officer January 6, 2021.
The Spectator reported early Thursday in a column titled Who killed Ashli Babbitt? that sources in the intelligence community have an “open secret” that Babbitt was “actually shot by a member of then-vice president Mike Pence’s protective detail.”
The Spectator says Pence’s team redirected them to the U.S. Secret Service, which did not comment on the report.
