Former President Trump is endorsing Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) to replace Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) as House Republican conference chair.
Joining House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, Trump put out a statement “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump” for a “complete and total endorsement.”

“Liz Cheney is a warmongering fool who has no business in Republican Party Leadership,” Trump said.
“Elise Stefanik is a far superior choice, and she has my COMPLETE and TOTAL Endorsement for GOP Conference Chair. Elise is a tough and smart communicator!”
Nationally syndicated radio host Todd Starnes questioned if moderate Stefanik is truly a rock, solid conservative, suggesting Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) would be a better pick.
“These Republicans have got to get their act together,” the Todd Starnes Radio Show host said Wednesday.
