House Republicans are enraged over Speaker Mike Johnson’s Continuing Resolution — warning that it will saddle President-elect Trump with even more debt. Lawmakers are still waiting on the text of the 1,400-page spending bill.

“Bipartisan work is ongoing. We’re almost there,” Johnson said at his weekly press conference Tuesday.

GOP Rep. Eric Burlison speaks out against the continuing resolution making its way through Congress to continue spending without passing a budget.

“It’s a total dumpster fire. I think it’s garbage… Sadly this is happening again. It’s shameful that people that celebrate DOGE coming in and yet we’re going to vote for another billion dollars to be added to the deficit. It’s ironic,” he said.

The continuing resolution, or CR, would extend federal funding until March 14. Without new legislation, government agencies will shut down at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.

Call the U.S. Capitol switchboard right now and urge your elected leaders to vote down Speaker Johnson’s CR. The number is (202) 224-3121. Watch the Todd Starnes Show live below on Rumble:
