President Trump could be campaigning from a cell block.
New York Judge Juan Merchan warned the former president that he could be sent to jail.
Merchan fined the former president $1,000 for violating a court-imposed gag order. So far, the fines have surpassed $10,000.
Trump has been ordered not to make any public statements about witnesses or counsel in his hush money trial.
The latest notice warns that future violations will be punishable by incarceration – not could be – but would be.
Merchan says that’s the last thing he wants to consider – but I’m not buying it.
The Democrats wanted Trump behind bars. They want him photographed in an orange prison jump suit wearing white crocs.
And they may very well get their wish.
But the moment the jail bars slam shut – is the moment Donald J. Trump wins the 2024 presidential election.
