Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) told one of Biden’s judicial nominees he can’t vote for her after asking the same question nine times.
Kennedy asked UNLV law professor Anne Traum, who is nominated to serve as U.S. District Judge for Nevada, the same question nine different times during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing this week
Kennedy asked “if illegal acts should be forgiven in the name of social justice” in some form nine times. But Traum refused to answer.
The Republican senator concluded: “I can’t vote for you. Not if you’re not going to answer questions. I mean, that was embarrassing.”
