President Biden’s pentagram-wearing appointment to lead the White House response for the Monkeypox outbreak is raising eyebrows.

Dr. Demetre Daskalakis was named as the White House National Monkeypox Response Deputy Coordinator in August.

Demetre was just appointed by Joe Biden to be the official White House National Monkeypox Response Deputy Coordinator. Demetre proudly wears the official symbol of the Church of Satan: The Pentagram.

Johnson shared magazine spreads and images Daskalakis has posted where he is displaying the pentagram, the official symbol of the Church of Satan.

“Not cherry picking here,” Johnson wrote. “The Pentagram is proudly displayed in his promotional photos for a CDC appointment. It’s ubiquitous on his social media. Demetre has Pentagram tattoos.”
HIV Plus Magazine did a feature on Daskalakis when he was appointed “HIV Czar,” the director of the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention at the CDC, showing him wearing a leather-bound pentagram across his chest.

“The gay doctor is known as an ‘activist physician’ to some, as he’s been happy to serve as a public advocate for people with or at risk of sexually transmitted infections — giving interviews, attending fundraisers, dressing in drag to administer meningitis vaccines, and participating in public service announcements about the importance of treatment and prevention,” the magazine wrote in 2021.

The White House described Daskalakis as the following in its announcement:
Dr. Demetre Daskalakis serves as Director of the Division of HIV Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control, where he oversees HIV prevention efforts. Dr. Daskalakis worked in the CDC COVID-19 response as a lead in health equity as well as the head of the vaccine task force. Prior to joining the CDC, Dr. Daskalakis served as New York City Department of Health’s Deputy Commissioner for the Division of Disease Control. In that role, Dr. Daskalakis oversaw many of New York City’s HIV and STD education and response programs, which helped drive HIV incidence to an historic low and also served as Incident Commander during the COVID-19 and Measles outbreaks. He has authored over 60 scholarly articles and has been widely recognized for his expertise and advocacy for the health issues affecting the LGBTQIA+ communities.
Johnson added that he is a “First Amendment Absolutist” and that the Biden administration official “has the right to believe and worship anything he wants…but the American public has a right to know if Joe Biden appointed a Satanist.”

The New York Post wrote a feature on how Deskalakis and his husband opened Monster Cycle + Studio in New York that featured “graffiti, illustrations of ghosts and “#hellyeah” signs throughout. In the lounge area, a black spin-bike hangs from the ceiling, draped in leather fetish gear. In the yoga studio, a massive, 11-foot-tall light-up pentagram by artist Desi Santiago leans against the wall, adding a unique ambience to the Sunday candle-lit yoga classes.”
