Police say the damage was catastrophic in the town of Round Rock, near Austin. Homes and businesses were destroyed and there are reports of injuries.
Video taken near Elgin shows and touchdown that caused serious damage to buildings and an untold number of injuries.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports extensive damage in Bowie — where the high school took a direct hit. Students were reportedly evacuated from the school without injury.
