DEVELOPING STORY: At least six people were killed and many others injured after a violent wedge tornado tore through Winterset, Iowa.
“It was scariest thing I’ve ever experienced. Our ears started popping, it sounded like a vacuum,” resident Jenn O’Neal said in a video posted to Instagram.
The National Weather Service said the storm caused severe damage.
“We don’t have anything left except our lives and our house but I’m grateful for that, and everything else doesn’t matter,” she said.
