‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Sponsor Threatens to Sue NASCAR After Rejection
A New York City restaurant refused to serve a 4-year-old girl inside because she didn’t have papers.
MSNBC anchor Ayman Mohyeldin tweeted about the incident Tuesday.
“THREAD: today my family was denied eating indoors at a restaurant because, wait for it, my 4 yr old daughter was with me and they dont serve ‘unvaccinated’ people,” Mohyeldin said. “I tried to explain theres no CDC guideline requiring children under 5 get vaccinated. But the restaurant didn’t care.”
He tagged Buvette NYC in the post with an image of the entrance.
“Don’t get me wrong, restaurants have the right to apply their own health standards but at least ground them in public health policies and science. Restaurants have suffered so much in this pandemic so its sad that when you try and help by dining out that you get turned away,” Mohyeldin added. “And just to be clear, everyone else with me was vaccinated, boosted and/or had covid (me). My 4 yr old daughter has a letter from her doctor stating she recently had covid. But they didn’t care and only offered us to sit outside even though they were seating customers indoors.”
When a Twitter user said she was “with” the restaurant on their denial of service and “looking out for everyone’s health,” Ayman replied: “You do know that I could have also spread COVID to their staff just as easily as my 4 year old and yet by their policy I was allowed to sit inside but she was not? Genuinely, how does that make sense to you?”
Bethany Mandel responded to his thread, tweeting, “This is why I (despite being vaccinated) am against passports.”

Another user tweeted: “His role at MSNBC helped create that problem. Now he gets to deal with it.”
Someone else said, “He was good with all of this insanity until it affected him.”
