Fox News Channel’s White House correspondent praised outgoing White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
Peter Doocy told Fox & Friends the left wing press secretary probably made him a “better reporter.”
“She by all accounts was very effective in defending the president and explaining this president,” Doocy told Fox’s John Roberts. “So we hope we got a lot more of that in the Karine Jean-Pierre era that starts on Monday.”
Doocy said she was a “good sport” during the back and forth at press briefings.
“She elevated the position,” Doocy said.
“Sorry to see you go,” he told Psaki on May 5. “You’ve always been a good sport.”
