Officer Andre Jenkins retired from the Sarasota Police Department after 30 years of service.

“We might be biased but the men and women of the Sarasota Police Department have some of the biggest hearts for our community. We love serving, protecting & giving back,” the police department wrote on it’s Facebook page.

During his last patrol, Officer Jenkins went 10-7 for the last time – and the moment was captured on video.

Thank you, Officer Jenkins for protecting and serving the good people of Sarasota.
