Nurses at a Michigan hospital paused to pray and sing “Amazing Grace” during a shift change the other day.
Lorie Marie Key delivered a stirring acapella rendition of the beautiful Christian hymn as other nurses bowed their heads.
It happened during a shift change at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Michigan.
The hospital posted a video of the beautiful moment on Facebook. Watch below.
“Thank you, Lori, for your beautiful initiative to raise your fellow colleagues’ spirits as you fight tirelessly on the front lines of COVID-19,” they wrote.
And what a powerful reminder to pray every day for the doctors and nurses and hospital workers who are putting their lives on the line every day as the battle this global pandemic.
