Jason Mosier dropped by the McDonalds off Interstate 81 in Morristown, Tennessee the other day. Had a hankering for a burger.
But the machine would not take his debit card. He swiped several times – with the same result.
So Jason asked the teenage cashier to void the order.

Instead, the young man – whose name is Hayden – took out his own card and purchased the man’s lunch.
Jason dug into his pocket for cash – but only had four dollars – which he insisted the teenager take.
When he got back to his truck – Jason noticed that the young man had scribbled a note on the receipt, “Have a blessed day.”
And there was also something else — four one dollar bills.
“I get to my truck and in the bag is the 4 bucks and my receipt that says ‘Have a Blessed Day,'” Jason wrote on Facebook. “Well young man, you did bless my day and thank you and never lose that giving heart. The world is a better place with you in it. I had to go back in and get a picture with him so I could brag on him because he deserves it.”
Jason was so blessed that he returned to the McDonalds and presented Hayden with $100 in cash and the store manager gave the teenager a tackle box, fishing gear and a gift card to Bass Pro Shop.
Mr. Mosier showed up that day wanting a quarter pounder with cheese, but what he got was a super-sized order of kindness under the Golden Arches.
