The U.S. military seems to believe that the Jerusalem Cross is a symbol of extremist behavior. The issue came up during a confirmation hearing for Pete Hegseth, President-elect Trump’s nominee to be Defense Secretary.

Hegseth has a tattoo of the cross on his chest —  one large cross surrounded by four smaller Greek crosses – representing evangelists spreading the gospel to the four corners of the Earth.

But the military seems to believe the cross is a symbol of white supremacy. Watch the video evidence below and click here to follow my YouTube Channel:

Hegseth told members of the Senate Armed Forces Committee that he was removed from National Guard duty at President Biden’s inauguration because of his tattoo.

“I was part of the mobilization to defend that inauguration. As someone who had been a proud supporter of Donald Trump but also a member of the military, I had orders to come to Washington, D.C., to guard that inauguration,” Hegseth told senators. “At the last minute, those orders were revoked. I’ve never had orders revoked before. I’ve been on orders to many places to do difficult and dangerous things.”

It wasn’t until he was writing a book that he discovered the real reason why his orders were revoked.

“It was because I had been identified—someone who had served in Iraq, in Afghanistan, in Guantanamo Bay, holding a riot shield outside the White House—as an extremist, someone unworthy of guarding the inauguration of an incoming American president,” Hegseth said.

Hegseth told lawmakers that the cross symbolized his Christian faith. The Fox News start is a devout believer and frequently discusses his faith in public settings. And yet his critics suggest there is something sinister about the tattoo.

“If that’s happening to me, Senator, how many other men and women, how many other patriots, how many other people of conscience,” Hegseth said.

Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) said he was disgusted that Hegseth had been the target of an anti-Christian attack.

“You are not the extremist,” the Republican lawmaker said. “The people who would deny you your expression of faith are the extremists. They’re the racists. They’re the bigots. You’re the one protecting their right to be one.”

Hegseth pointed out that there’s a giant Jerusalem cross on the floor of the National Cathedral in Washington. And astute observers would have recognized the symbol on the cover of the program at President Jimmy Carter’s funeral.

There are no doubt a bunch of godless heathens running the Pentagon these days. They wouldn’t know a cross from a jigsaw puzzle. But all of that is going to change on Jan. 20th when Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth declares war on the anti-Christians lurking in the Pentagon.
