President Trump stunned the woke entertainment industry by immediately terminating the chairman and most the board of trustees of the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

Trump said the current leadership did not share his “vision for a golden age in arts and culture.”

“We are going to make the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., GREAT AGAIN,” the president wrote in a message posted on Truth Social. “The Kennedy Center is an American Jewel, and must reflect the brightest STARS on its stage from all across our Nation. For the Kennedy Center, THE BEST IS YET TO COME!”

The president then announced that he would personally serve as the new chairman of the famed performing arts center.

Trump was reportedly upset over the Kennedy Center’s decision to promote LGBT ideology to young children.

“Just last year, the Kennedy Center featured Drag Shows specifically targeting our youth — THIS WILL STOP,” the president wrote.

Last year the Kennedy Center hosted a drag queen brunch that caused controversy among conservatives.

The October event featured 2024 Capital Pride Honoree, Tula, and other drag performers “representing the diversity of D.C.’s queer community,” according to the site.

The Washington Post reports staff received an email from Kennedy Center President Deborah Rutter noting that some terminations had already happened.

“Per the Center’s governance established by Congress in 1958, the chair of the board of trustees is appointed by the Center’s board members,” Rutter wrote. “There is nothing in the Center’s statute that would prevent a new administration from replacing board members; however, this would be the first time such an action has been taken with Kennedy Center’s board.”
