Hundreds of New York City educators protested vaccine mandates outside the Department of Education Monday.
Mayor Bill de Blasio, whom protesters called a “traitor,” warned the city’s 148,000 public school staffers Friday that unvaccinated employees would be placed on unpaid leave and not allowed to work this week.
Those gathered at the “Teacher’s March” chanted “shame on you!” “hold the line,” “we will not comply,” “f– Joe Biden and de Blasio,” and more.
