The raw, unedited video from the body cameras of Officer Garrett Rolfe and Officer Devin Brosan were released by the Atlanta Police Department. Based on what I saw in the bodycam footage, the Atlanta police officers did everything they were supposed to do.
The officers were patient, respectful and responded with force when they were attacked. They were dealing with a man who was clearly in no condition to drive and had placed an untold number of motorists in danger.
The police chief and the officer should be reinstated and the mayor should be removed from office. Watch for yourself below:
