A man who told his parents that he wanted to blow up Trump supporters was the subject of an “Officer Safety Bulletin” that was distributed to multiple law enforcements agencies in the Mid-South.
Steven Crowder, the conservative pundit, obtained an exclusive copy of the document that was originally sent to law enforcement at the federal and state level in Tennessee. The bulletin was issued on Feb. 29. However, the general public was never made aware of the threat.
The bulletin warned of a subject “making concerning statements about constructing a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device.”

“Have been thinking an awful lot about rigging my van and bombing trump supporters,” Benjamin Dayton allegedly wrote in a text message to his parents.
The bulletin notes that the FBI field office in Memphis notified the Tennessee Office of Homeland Security about the incident.
“An initial investigation revealed that Dayton has experienced suicidal and homicidal ideations and also mentioned trying to obtain a firearm,” the bulletin read.
Social media posts showed a photograph of Dayton’s van with the words, “From the River to the Sea” scrawled on the back windows.

Homeland Security released a statement to KWAM News Radio Memphis confirming the bulletin:
“On March 1, 2024, The Tennessee Office of Homeland Security issued an officer safety bulletin to Tennessee and surrounding states’ law enforcement agencies based on information provided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Memphis Field Office regarding Benjamin Dayton. Recently, law enforcement agencies in Arkansas made contact with Mr. Dayton and the bulletin was allowed to expire.”
So, why weren’t the citizens of Memphis warned that a deranged man was on the loose? Why weren’t there any alerts to the media? Why are we finding out after the fact?
The truth is that many high-profile Democrats have been openly advocating for violence against President Trump and his supporters. So, we should all be on high alert.
