A disgruntled punter who got booted from the National Football League was arrested after he went on a wild anti-MAGA screed and disrupted a city council meeting in Huntington Beach, California.
Chris Kluwe, a former punter for the Minnesota Vikings, was enraged over the council’s decision to install a plaque in the public library that was an acronym for MAGA. The words “Magical,” “Alluring,” “Galvanizing,” and “Adventurous” were written on the plaque.
“MAGA is is explicitly a Nazi movement,” he told the all-Republican council. “You may have replaced a swastika with a red hat, but that is what it is.”
The punter-turned-activist accused citizens who want to make America great again of supporting censorship, book bans, racism and the eradication of transgender people. And of course, he accused you MAGA folks of being Nazis.
“MAGA stands for trying to erase transpeople from existence. MAGA stands for resegregation and racism. MAGA stands for censorship and book bans,” he said. “MAGA stands for firing air traffic controllers while planes are crashing. MAGA stands for firing the people overseeing our nuclear arsenal. MAGA stands for firing military veterans and those serving them at the VA, including canceling research on veterans suicide. MAGA stands for cutting funds to education, including for disabled children.”
Kluwe then stormed towards the council dais and that’s when police were summoned. They had to physically haul the guy out of the council chambers. He was charged with disrupting an assembly. Watch below and click here to follow my YouTube television channel.
