The Deep State’s Double Standard. That is the subject of today’s preamble.
Jarell Harris was sentenced to 13 years in prison for killing a father in Washington, D.C. The victim was walking his children to school when Harris opened fire – 13 years behind bars was the plea deal.
Meanwhile, Enrique Tarrio is going to jail for 22 years. Joe Biggs is going to spend the next 17 years in prison. Ethan Nordean 18 years. Both men sent to prison by DC judges for their roles in the January 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol.
The point here is not to litigate the actions of that day. Those who broke the law should pay the price. I’ve been very consistent about that. I also believe that we need to know exactly how many federal agents were involved in the planning and the execution of that day. Information the government refuses to release.
Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund told Tucker Carlson there was a cover-up. That top congressional leaders knew about the capitol plot before it happened. By the way – not a single congressional leader has refuted Sund’s accusations.
But what concerns me are the sentences of the convicted – are they fair? DC Judges seem to believe that what happened on January 6th is far worse than murdering a man in front of his children.
And why the selective prosecutions and persecutions?
If the Deep State is going to punish the J6 defendants, they also have to round up and punish Black Lives Matter and Antifa and the far leftists who burned down city blocks, pillaged and plundered small businesses. They have to indict the insurrectionists who stormed the White House gates in 2020. The rioters who threw Molotov cocktails and bottles – injuring at least 50 Secret Service agents. The rioters who tried to burn down St. John’s Church.
And what about the elected lawmakers who encouraged the 2020 insurrectionists? Maxine Waters, the congresswoman from California. Absolutely harass Trump supporters, Get in their faces. That’s what she said. In the supermarkets and the grocery stores. Why isn’t she doing hard time in the DC Gulag? Or former Attorney General Eric Holder – If they go low, we go lower. We’ve got the audio tape. And even Barack Hussein Obama – “if they bring a knife to the fight we bring a gun.” The June 14th edition of the Wall Street Journal. Google it.
All that to say – we are in the throes of a judicial crisis in America. Where Democrats are using the legal system to settle old scores – sending political enemies to prison.
We’ve seen this story play out across world history – from the old Soviet Union to Venezuela. Lady Justice is no longer blind. The Democrats have ripped off her blindfold – and if you are a gun-toting, Bible-clinging Deplorable – there’s going to be hell to pay. But I can promise you this — Newsmax has your back, America.
