DEVELOPING STORY: Multiple people were reportedly shot and killed at a Juneteenth concert in Round Rock, Texas. Police are urging people to stay away from Old Settlers Park.
The shooting happened during a Paul Walls concert.
“Prayers up for Round Rock,” the artist wrote on Facebook. “This truly hurts my heart.”
Video showed police guarding at one person who had been handcuffed. It’s unclear if he wasinvolved in the shooting.
“Not even 25 feet away from us, we started to hear machine gun shots,” an eyewitness wrote on social media. “Cops apprehended the individual quickly, but unfortunately there are multiple casualties. Black people literally CANNOT enjoy anything.”
There are unconfirmed reports of fatalities and as many as 12 people shot.
