Missouri Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler has been suspended from Twitter.
Hartzler was silenced over a tweet she wrote about Lia Thomas, the male swimmer who thinks he’s a woman. Thomas has crushed his female competition – smashing at least 5 Ivy League records and winning 4 championships.
The congresswoman condemned Thomas’s charade.
Women’s sports are for women, not men pretending to be women – that’s what she wrote on Twitter and that’s what got her suspended.
Accused of violating Twitter’s rules against hateful content. The Associated Press called her conduct transphobic.
The social media platform says her account will remain suspended until she deletes the tweet – but her office says that’s not going to happen.

I never thought I would see the day that a biological woman would get slapped around by social media for defending other biological women. Some might call that abuse.
