Hello Americans. I’m Todd Starnes with news and Commentary next.
Los Angeles has canceled Halloween.
No trick-or-treating, no parties, no carnivals and no church festivals.
The Los Angeles County Health Department says it’s just too dangerous – blaming the China Virus for their decision.
“Door-to-door trick-or-treating is not allowed because it can be very difficult to maintain proper social distancing on porches and at front doors especially in neighborhoods that are popular with trick or treaters,” the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health said in its recently released guidelines. “‘Trunk-or-treating’ events where children go from car to car instead of door to door to receive treats are also not allowed.”
The health department also banned trunk or treating – that’s when kids go from car to car instead of door to door.
Instead, they recommended online parties and online costume competitions.
There is no way in the world people are going to go for this.
We’ve been quarantined in our homes for over six months now – and Americans have grown sick and tired of these outrageous infringements on our candy corn.
Ironically Los Angeles canceled the one holiday where everyone is wearing a face mask – willingly.
