A Wisconsin school district has apologized to parents and military veterans after a teacher reportedly displayed an American flag upside down on Veteran’s Day.
Someone took a photo of the flag inside a classroom at Kegonsa Elementary School in Wisconsin. The gentleman seen in the photograph is not the teacher — but an invited guest.
The school district apologized and said it was an “unacceptable oversight” and “unintentional display of the American flag.”
“We sincerely apologize for the unintentional display of the American flag at Kegonsa Elementary,” the statement read. “This was an unacceptable oversight and in no way reflects the respect and honor we hold for our active military, veterans, and their families. We are taking immediate steps to ensure this does not happen again.”
Something tells me the teacher’s “oversight” was very much intentional.
