Kentucky Fried Chicken has launched a new fried chicken-flavored toothpaste. KFC says the flavors are inspired by Colonel Sanders and his original 11 herbs and spices.
The fast-food chain releasing a statement celebrating the news:
“Like biting into a hot, juicy piece of KFC Original Recipe Chicken, this toothpaste is irresistible, coating your teeth in flavor before leaving your mouth feeling fresh and clean.”
KFC is partnering with the toothpaste manufacturer Hismile to produce the poultry paste. $13 dollars a tube. And it’s apparently a big hit – they’ve already sold out as of this morning.
“This started as an April Fools’ joke, but we thought — why not make it real?” Hismile marketing manager Koban Jones said in a statement. “We love pushing boundaries, and what better way to do that than by bringing KFC’s legendary flavors into an everyday essential? This collab is bold, unexpected, and seriously fun.”
You can also buy a KFC electric toothbrush for $59 – I imagine with either original recipe bristles or extra crispy.
Finger-licking gross.
