“THE DEMOCRATS ARE TRYING TO ‘STUFF’ VOTER REGISTRATIONS WITH ILLEGAL ALIENS. DON’T LET IT HAPPEN – CLOSE IT DOWN,” the former president wrote on Truth Social.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is trying to pass a six-month stopgap funding bill paired with the controversial SAVE Act. House Democrats say the legislation is a poison pill.
If Democrats refuse to support the legislation it could lead to a temporary government shutdown — which would be just fine for Trump.
