The fallout from the ABC News presidential debate continues. A whistleblower has come forward with evidence that the television network intentionally rigged the debate. You can read the whistleblower’s affidavit below.
Mark Penn, a former top adviser to Bill and Hillary Clinton, is calling for a formal investigation. He wants to know if there was some sort of effort to rig the outcome of the debate.
“I actually think they should do a full internal investigation, hire an outside law firm. I don’t know how much of this was planned in advance,” Penn told the ‘John Solomon Reports’ podcast.
“I don’t know what they told the Harris campaign,” Penn said. “I think the day after, suspicion here is really quite high, and I think a review of all their internal texts and emails really should be done by an independent party to find out to what extent they were planning on, in effect, you know, fact-checking just one candidate and in effect, rigging the outcome of this debate. I think the situation demands nothing less than that.”
ABC News has faced fierce criticism from Republicans over the behavior of the moderators. David Muir and Linsey Davis ganged up on President Trump.
They fact-checked nearly everything the president said – while turning a blind eye to more than two dozen verifiable lies from Vice President Harris.
There are reports that Harris may have even been given the questions in advance.
Mark Penn says the suspicions are high that the debate was rigged.
And there is a history of this happening. Former DNC Chair Donna Brazille got fired by CNN after she leaked debate questions to Hillary Clinton.
The truth is that an investigation is not necessary. The American people know exactly what happened during that debate. ABC News tried to politically assassinate President Trump — again.
