Democrats and the Mainstream Media are enraged over photographs showing Border Patrol agents on horseback attempting to apprehend illegal alien invaders in Del Rio, Texas.

Get a load of how Politico journalist Natasha Korecki described the photos:

U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Professional Responsibility has launched a formal investigation into Border Patrol agents after footage emerged showing them on horseback, menacingly using what appeared to be whips on migrants seeking asylum along the U.S.-Mexico border.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was so aggrieved that Border Patrol agents would attempt to apprehend criminals that she issued a statement of condemnation.

“Reports of the mistreatment of Haitian migrants fleeing violence and devastation from natural disasters are deeply troubling, including the inappropriate use of what appear to be whips by Border Patrol officers on horseback to intimidate migrants,” Pelosi said.

A reporter asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki to address the rumors.

REPORTER: “There are photographs and reports of Border Agents on horseback using what appear to be whips on Haitian migrants. Does the admin. see that as an appropriate tactic?”

PSAKI: “I don’t have the full context. I can’t imagine what context would make that appropriate.”

White House

That’s because there is no context. The allegations are simply not true. The agents were not using whips to attack or intimidate illegals.

The National Fraternal Order of Police provided a “TED Talk” for leftists in the Mainstream Media who can’t tell the front end of a horse from the back.

“For all you Social Media Warriors out there: these are NOT whips. And no, Border Patrol agents are NOT “whipping” people,” they wrote in a Facebook post. “They are REINS… Stay with us here, like a steering wheel is used to drive a car, the reins are used to “drive” the horse.”

It’s too bad journalists are so ignorant they can’t be bothered to get the facts first — and then publish a story.

“Thanks for coming to our TED talk,” the Fraternal Order of Police wrote.
