Your public school may be disguised as a campaign headquarters for Kamala Harris.
In Gaston, North Carolina – teachers sent students an email inviting them to become volunteers for the Harris-Walz campaign.
The North Carolina Democratic Party was provided email addresses to recruit students – which is a clear violation of state law. Teachers and other state employees are banned from taking in engaging in political activity while on duty.
“Gross and desperate,” said RNC co-chair Lara Trump in a statement. “The Harris campaign continues to try and use government resources as an additional campaign arm. They are now using taxpayer funded school platforms to recruit public school teachers to pressure students into volunteering for the campaign. Thankfully, the school board has shut this down and is investigating further, but be vigilant for the same tactics in schools across the country.”
Radio station WBT reports that teachers used their official email addresses to recruit and groom kids – which is also illegal.

Gaston County Republican Chair Robert King told the Carolina Journal he was incensed to learn that the Democrats had direct access to the public school system.
“The method utilized placed employees of the school system in a position to potentially break the law, yet the campaign appears to either not care or be ignorant of the law,” he told the news journal. “Either way, it reflects their apparent lack of concern for operating within the bounds of the law and of decency regarding their methods.”
But it’s not just in North Carolina.
The Carolina Journal interviewed a regional Harris-Walz organizer who said Democrats are reaching out to school systems nationwide to recruit students.
One school classroom in another state featured a number of hand-made Harris campaign signs – including one that showed high heels stomping on a red MAGA hat. Watch the video below.
